Pink Speak Out 'Reformed slut'

Pink has called herself a “reformed slut” in the latest issue of Glamour magazine. E! News reports on April 30 that the singer is trying to reclaim the derogatory term and change its meaning. She also reveals that she once dated Joey Fatone and shares her current struggles with her husband Carey Hart.

Pink make the term “reformed slut” to explain it is her attempt to get her power back, and she adds that it is an “unsophisticated way” to do it. In the new issue of Glamour, the 33-year-old singer shares she briefly dated Joey Fatone because he was in love with her. Pink mentions that he bought her ice cream at Friendly’s and has acted like a gentleman by asking her father for permission to date her.

She admits that relationships are a struggle, and her marriage has not been easy. She has split from her husband Carey Hart in the past, but they were able to reconcile. In 2008, the couple separated amid allegations that Hart was cheating on the singer, but she denied that an affair was responsible for the split. Pink says that communication is the key to having a strong marriage. 

Nevertheless, this does not mean her relationship is quietly perfect, and Pink shares information about a recent fight with Carey because he did not get her flowers after a concert. Pink points out, “We're good because we communicate and we've grown up together, not because we don’t fight.”
